		<description>I like your ideas.  I&#039;m in Columbus, Ohio which is over-saturated with private golf courses.  I don&#039;t know the exact numbers, but over the past 5-10 years many private courses have had to completely shut down or either sell the course to a company that turns it in to a public course.  Despite all that, new private courses continue to open up!  I think private courses need to start thinking outside the box to survive.  I think an interesting idea might be to offer &quot;buddy memberships,&quot; where 2-4 golfing buddies can go in on a joint membership.
