Thanks for that Jim. Yeah, I’m actually re-reading “Zen Golf” again as I have had this strange thing happen recently. I am playing superbly when playing 9 holes by myself then when I hit the course with a foursome my game has been shaky at best. Thanks for the tip on the book by Roy Palmer – will definitely put it on my “get list” – thanks again for stopping by the GolfDash blog

Definitely one of the best on the mental game and a big influence on my own teaching. Practicing visualization, awareness and breathing are key to playing better. Great interview! Thanks Doug.

Zen Golf is always in my bag – great stuff, great interview. Just added another book to Joe’s – Golf Sense by Roy Palmer, very readable with some excellent advice and simple tips.

That is awesome that you got interview Dr. Joseph Parent. He is one of the biggest influences for me in how I approach the mental aspect of the game. Great read!

Thanks for the tips… though if you saw my swing, you’d wouldn’t say its 90% mental and 10% mental Its pretty bad.
