What Is A Peak Performance Golf Swing?
Have you heard of the Peak Performance Golf Swing? I’ll bet not many of you have, but I think that will change this year. I found out about it by clicking on a link in an email – I’m not even sure which one. I do this a lot to check out ‘new’ golf instruction, but most are dead-ends. However, the more I check out Peak Performance Golf, the more I’m intrigued.
Peak Performance Golf is a swing theory and in instruction methodology developed by DJ Trahan’s dad Don. One of the things that got me to explore the site was DJ’s recent success on the Tour this year. His dad is his instructor and who am I to argue with success.
His teaching videos are down to earth, entertaining and for the most part seem on the money. I’ve just signed up to look at his video series and will be reviewing what I find out in the coming weeks. I already see a lot of things I like in his putting instruction. Regardless of your style or type of putter there are some really great drills here from which any golfer, even Tour pro, can benefit. Stay tuned!

From what I’ve gleaned from Trahan’s golfsite and some of the instruction I’ve watched, they claim that the Peak Performance Swing that they teach is very easy on the back. That’s one of the reasons they created it. Hope that helps. John
I’m going to check it out – I have to be very careful with my swing and anything I can do to reduce the chances of injury is worth the money!
Tee Times, I encourage you to look at the Jimmy Ballard/Rocco Mediate piece on The Golf Channel’s ’12 Nights at the Academy’. This is a great swing approach, clearly explained and proven to work by Rocco and other pro players.
Peak Performance is by far the best. I used Natural Golf, Simple Golf and Peak Performance. This is the system the is the easiest to learn (study it don’t just watch it), most repeatable, accurate and you back will love it. Just be sure to understand what Don is teaching you to do from the top of the back swing through the hitting zone and distance will not need a factor. I’m 71 and it is great. Don gets very chatty and needs to get to the points more quickly.
I have seen a few of his videos and a lot of instruction seems to make sense. I have recently been learning a lot from Paul Wilson of Revolution golf.
Thanks for sharing

Is this designed for people with low back problems?
