Perry is a great guy. I read these points about him on another blog:

- Was named winner of the 2002 Charles Bartlett Award given to a professional golfer for unselfish contributions to the betterment of society.

- Donates five percent of his winnings to Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, to provide scholarships for students.

- Took out a $2.5 million loan to build Country Creek, the only public course in his hometown of Franklin, Kentucky.

- Sometimes works behind the counter at his course and is often asked, “Do you know Kenny Perry?”

Makes him a legend in my book!

What’s more his strategy is clearly playing off – he is 5th in the Ryder Cup points list!!
