Is Wie Finally Growing Up?

Well, Michelle Wie is off to a good start at Q school with a solid round of 69. She birdied her last hole and appeared very comfortable.

But make no mistake there is a lot on the line here for the former star. If you make the cut, you’re guaranteed some exemption into the LPGA, with the top-20 getting full exemptions. 

Perhaps she has had time to (hopefully) break her ties from her unscrupulous family management. You would think at some time she would start thinking for herself and making decisions that are in HER best interest and not her family’s. 

And as Tiger has shown you need to mental toughness as well as a great swing. Then again, Tiger is really incomparable – certainly to Michelle Wie anyway.
