Duval Back in the Hunt

Good to see David Duval back in the hunt at the Gin sur Mer Classic in Palm Coast Florida in the last PGA even of the year.

He shot a 69 yesterday(Fri) and is 2 shots back heading into the weekend. He is currently 233rd in the world rankings and has not won in 7 years.

Not sure why but I am perpetually rooting for this guy. From the last couple interviews I have heard (including his solid play at the British Open) he is quite committed to getting it all back – working on getting back to basics and re-tooling his mind.

I, for one, hope he can crack a top ten this weekend. Seems like an awful lot of stress to go through in the last number of years. Sooner or later you have to believe the tide will turn in his favor. Perhaps this weekend in Florida.
