Welcome to the GolfDash Blog – a golfdashboard dedicated to improving and enhancing your game through great deals, news, reviews and NO BS commentary.

GolfDash Blog was founded by John Diekmann and Doug Farrick back in 2006. We were formally on the Blogger platform but recently have updated to a new format and new look with WordPress.

The blog is actually an offshoot of the large directory John and Doug (me) founded in 2005 called GolfDash.com – which was one of the largest online golf information directories online.

John and I both have backgrounds in internet technology. John was a former international director of web strategy/development at ABB. He has also held numerous high-level management positions so he know a thing or two about the web.

If he doesn’t mind my saying he also is one of the best, most insightful writers on golf today. Besides John’s passion for golf, he also is an accomplished woodworker and carpenter. He lives with his wife in Rhode Island.

I was actually hired by John for a creative position many (many) years ago and not sure (but I think) I was hired because I brought up golf during the interview (pretty smart, huh!)

Doug Farrick

Since that time I have remained in the technology field, worked for Xerox, ABB and a number other corporate positions. I then went on to found a web design development firm for 4+ years.

Most recently I have consulted with The Hartford and IBM on front end development. I currently live in western Massachusetts with my wife Cathy, stepson and 3 cats.

Both John and I are passionate about golf and committed to expanding the reach of the GolfDash blog through the many relationships we have formed in the golfing world since founding GolfDash.
